About the Role

We're seeking an experienced FinTech Engineering Lead to help build the next generation of global banking and digital wallet infrastructure.

Our client is developing a unified financial platform combining virtual banking, payments and cryptocurrency wallets to make financial services more accessible across emerging markets.

You'll work directly with the technical founders, shaping engineering standards and building secure, reliable and high-performance financial applications that handle real money at scale.

We're particularly interested in engineers with hands-on experience in B2C banking, stablecoin infrastructure or payment systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of highly scalable and secure backend financial systems.
• Build and maintain backend applications and REST APIs.
• Work with banking and cryptocurrency service providers.
• Develop and integrate authentication, ledger and payment infrastructure.
• Establish engineering standards and technical best practices.
• Build reliable systems supporting international financial transactions.
• Collaborate directly with technical founders on architecture and product development.
• Drive performance, security and reliability across critical financial services.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping FinTech software.
• Deep hands-on expertise in at least ONE of the following:
• Financial ledgering.
• Payments processing.
• Stablecoin infrastructure.
• Risk and fraud management.
• Strong backend engineering experience.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis and AWS.
• Strong technical ownership and system design capabilities.
