Astana Elite Auto General Repairing is seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Master Automotive Electrician & Diagnostic Specialist to join our premium automotive workshop in Dubai.

The ideal candidate must be an expert in advanced automotive electrical systems, electronic diagnostics, ECU programming, vehicle communication networks, and complex electrical fault identification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving challenging electrical and electronic issues in European, luxury, and high-performance vehicles while providing technical support and guidance to junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced Electrical Diagnostics

• Diagnose and repair complex automotive electrical and electronic faults.
• Troubleshoot CAN Bus, LIN Bus, FlexRay, and automotive Ethernet communication networks.
• Diagnose intermittent electrical faults, parasitic battery drains, and communication failures.
• Analyze electrical circuits using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Identify faults in wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, and electronic control modules.
• Interpret complex wiring diagrams and manufacturer technical documentation.
• Diagnose vehicle starting, charging, battery management, and power distribution systems.

2. ECU Programming & Coding

• Perform ECU and TCU programming, coding, adaptations, and calibration.
• Carry out control module replacement, initialization, and configuration.
• Perform software updates and vehicle electronic system adaptations using authorized procedures.
• Diagnose ECU communication failures and software-related issues.
• Perform vehicle module synchronization and electronic system configuration.
• Handle immobilizer and electronic key-related diagnostics through authorized manufacturer procedures.
• Perform SCN coding and Mercedes-Benz control unit adaptations where properly authorized.

3. Luxury Vehicle Diagnostics

• Perform advanced diagnostics on Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Range Rover, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other luxury vehicles.
• Diagnose ABS, ESP, SRS, electronic suspension, transmission control, and engine management systems.
• Troubleshoot advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
• Diagnose electronic steering, air suspension, and adaptive chassis systems.
• Perform electrical diagnosis of air-conditioning and climate control systems.
• Resolve complex faults that cannot be identified by general technicians.

4. Diagnostic Equipment & Software

• Operate and maintain professional diagnostic equipment, including:
• Mercedes-Benz XENTRY / DAS
• BMW ISTA
• Porsche PIWIS
• Volkswagen / Audi ODIS
• JLR Pathfinder / TOPIx diagnostic systems
• Autel MaxiSys
• Launch X431
• Use oscilloscopes, circuit testers, battery analyzers, and specialized electrical diagnostic tools.
• Maintain diagnostic software, equipment, and technical documentation.

5. Technical Leadership & Workshop Support

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians and mechanical technicians.
• Supervise complex electrical repair jobs.
• Assist workshop management in resolving difficult diagnostic cases.
• Ensure accurate fault identification before replacing expensive electronic components.
• Prepare detailed diagnostic reports and repair recommendations.
• Coordinate with service advisors regarding repair procedures, costs, and timelines.
• Support technician training and continuous technical development.
• Maintain high standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction.

6. Quality Control & Safety

• Perform final testing and verification after electrical repairs.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer repair procedures.
• Follow proper electrical safety standards.
• Apply high-voltage safety procedures for hybrid and electric vehicles when appropriately trained and certified.
• Prevent unnecessary parts replacement through accurate diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized diagnostic working environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of professional automotive electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior or Master Automotive Electrician.
• Advanced knowledge of European and luxury vehicle electrical systems.
• Excellent understanding of automotive communication protocols and electronic control modules.
• Strong experience with ECU programming, coding, and adaptations.
• Ability to diagnose complicated electrical faults independently.
• Advanced skills in reading wiring diagrams and using oscilloscopes.
• Strong experience with Mercedes-Benz XENTRY and BMW ISTA.
• Experience with Porsche PIWIS, Audi ODIS, or JLR diagnostic systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and systematic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to supervise and train junior technicians.
• Previous UAE luxury automotive workshop or dealership experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mercedes-Benz or BMW manufacturer technical training.
• Master Technician certification or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in ECU electronics and circuit board-level diagnostics.
• Experience in hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics with appropriate high-voltage certification.
• Knowledge of ADAS calibration systems.
• Experience with automotive software updates and control module configuration.
• Strong knowledge of electrical fault tracing and root-cause analysis.
