Role Overview: The registered nurse (RN) provides expert patient care in an outpatient Infusion Therapy Center, specializing in intravenous medication administration, vascular access care, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate nursing care, including patient education and care transitions.
  • Administer IV medications, blood products, IM injections, and perform therapeutic phlebotomy.
  • Support professional practice, mentor colleagues, and participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Delegate tasks based on skill level, patient acuity, and resource availability.
  • Possibly drive personal vehicles as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of one year RN experience; experience in infusion or vascular access preferred.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Current RN license and BLS certification; additional state licensure or certifications may be required.
