Associate Director

Role Description The Associate Director will provide strategic and operational leadership to support Sync’s mission of integrated health and wellness. This part-time, remote role includes overseeing multidisciplinary programs, coordinating initiatives across physical education, physiotherapy, nutrition, and psychology, and ensuring alignment with the company’s holistic health philosophy. Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting strategic planning, monitoring key performance indicators, guiding project execution, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The Associate Director will also help shape service offerings, refine processes, contribute to marketing and partnership efforts, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and client-centered care. This role requires proactive communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams and projects in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership or management roles within health, wellness, or related service organizations, with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams and programs.
• Background in one or more relevant fields such as healthcare administration, allied health, sports science, psychology, nutrition, or wellness management.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage timelines, and track results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse professionals and remote teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to preventive health, holistic wellness, and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits.
• Comfort with remote work tools and digital platforms for coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience; postgraduate studies or certifications in health or wellness fields are a plus.
• Fluency in Portuguese and working proficiency in English are beneficial for stakeholder communication and documentation.
