Design Director

Role Description The Design Director role at 3N Startups is a part-time, remote position responsible for leading the visual and experiential design of the brand and its platforms. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing design strategy, guiding the development of visual identity across digital channels, and ensuring consistent branding in all content and communication. The Design Director collaborates with content, product, and marketing contributors to translate strategic goals into user-centered interfaces, layouts, and graphics. The role also involves providing leadership and feedback to designers and partners, refining design systems, and supporting the creation of materials for campaigns, community initiatives, and product features.

Qualifications

• Strong Design Management skills, including leading design projects, setting standards, and mentoring contributors.
• Proficiency in Branding and visual identity development to ensure cohesive and recognizable representation of 3N Startups.
• Experience with Product Design and Architecture, focusing on user-centered digital experiences and platform structure.
• Ability to work with Construction Drawings or detailed design documentation, ensuring concepts are translated into clear, actionable specifications.
• Advanced skills in digital design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud) and familiarity with responsive, web-first design.
• Proven track record in designing for media, tech, or startup-focused platforms is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and remote work skills, with the ability to operate independently and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
