Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Buyer at Rostek Oy. The Buyer will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing materials and components, and negotiating pricing and terms to support production of aluminum access systems. Day-to-day tasks include placing and tracking purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating delivery schedules, and resolving supply issues in collaboration with engineering and production teams. The role involves maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing costs, and contributing to continuous improvement of purchasing processes. The Buyer will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure materials meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or supply chain management, including sourcing, vendor selection, and negotiation.
• Skills in inventory monitoring, order tracking, and basic cost analysis or budgeting.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications or drawings, preferably related to manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Comfort with remote work tools and systems, including ERP or procurement software.
• Relevant education in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or building systems, especially metal or facade solutions, is an advantage.
