Role Description The Close Protection Operative will deliver discreet personal security services to high-profile and high-net-worth clients, often coordinating remotely with operations teams to plan and manage assignments. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, planning secure movements, liaising with residence and yacht staff, monitoring potential threats, and implementing protective measures consistent with the client’s lifestyle and privacy requirements. The operative will maintain situational awareness, support travel security planning, and respond calmly and effectively to incidents or emerging risks. Responsibilities also include reporting and documentation, coordination with local security resources where necessary, and adherence to company protocols and legal requirements. This is a contract role and is primarily remote, with the expectation of travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in close protection, executive protection, or high-threat security operations, preferably within private or corporate security environments.
• Strong skills in risk assessment, threat analysis, and security planning, with the ability to design low-profile protective measures that respect client privacy.
• Excellent situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, including calm response under pressure and in dynamic environments.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact respectfully with clients, household staff, and external stakeholders.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and reliability, with a demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and non-disclosure of client information.
• Physical fitness appropriate to close protection duties, and the ability to sustain long working hours or irregular schedules when operationally required.
• Relevant safety, security, or protection certifications (e.g., close protection courses, defensive driving, first aid/CPR, trauma care) are highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with residential, maritime, and travel security considerations; experience protecting residences, yachts, or similar assets is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in remote settings, using digital tools for secure communication, reporting, and coordination with operations management.
• Clean professional record; background checks and reference verification will be required.
• Criminal record certification in home country required with applcation!
