The role

We’re looking for a senior operator to own capital strategy as Axe AI scales. You’ll lead our next financing round end to end, build long-term relationships with institutional investors, and shape the company’s strategic and financial direction. This is a leadership role that reports directly to the CEO and has real ownership.

What you’ll do

• Lead our upcoming growth round: investor targeting, outreach, process management, and close
• Build and manage relationships with VC funds, corporate venture arms, sovereign funds, and family offices, with a particular focus on the GCC
• Own the fundraising narrative: deck, data room, financial model, and investor updates
• Drive strategic partnerships with AI infrastructure and cloud providers
• Build the financial planning and KPI reporting the company runs on
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO on priorities, hiring, and growth

What we’re looking for

• Has led or closed at least one $10M+ round, either as an investor or on the company side
• Background as a VC Principal/VP/Partner, tech investment banker, or Chief of Staff/Head of Strategy at a venture-backed startup
• An active network across institutional VCs, corporate VCs, and GCC capital
• Strong command of financial modeling, deal structures, and term sheets
• Understanding of AI products and the current AI investment landscape
• Comfortable operating at early-stage speed with high ownership

Nice to have

• Experience with UAE/Saudi sovereign funds or family offices
• Prior operating experience at an AI or SaaS company

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus a significant equity package. Compensation is weighted toward equity for the right candidate.
