HR Policy Specialist

Role Description The HR Policy Specialist at Midland Refineries Company - Karbala Refinery will design, review, and update HR policies to ensure alignment with company objectives, local regulations, and industry best practices. This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site work and approved work-from-home days. Daily responsibilities include conducting policy research, drafting and revising HR policies and procedures, and collaborating with HR management and department leaders to address policy-related issues. The specialist will interpret policies for staff, support the implementation of employee benefits frameworks, and assist with personnel management matters such as onboarding, performance management, and disciplinary processes. The role will also involve preparing policy documentation, delivering policy-related training or briefings, and monitoring compliance with established HR standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) knowledge and practical HR Management experience.
• Candidates should possess expertise in HR Policies, including drafting, reviewing, and implementing policy frameworks.
• Candidates should possess understanding of Employee Benefits design, administration, and communication.
• Candidates should possess skills in Personnel Management, including employee lifecycle processes and record-keeping.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and provide policy guidance to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regional HR regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
