Logistics Planning

Role Description The Logistics Planning role is a part-time remote position responsible for coordinating and optimizing day-to-day logistics activities. This includes planning shipments, monitoring order status, and aligning delivery schedules with customer requirements and internal production timelines. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation for domestic and export movements, tracking performance indicators, and addressing logistics issues in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The Logistics Planner will communicate regularly with customers and carriers, support continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, optimize routes, and support decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in Supply Chain Management to manage inventory flows, scheduling, and coordination across the logistics network.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Export processes to manage documentation, regulations, and international shipping requirements.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or coursework in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields are beneficial.
• Proficiency with logistics or ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other planning tools is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Prior experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution setting is a plus.
