Company Description Navia Ride is a digital social networking platform that connects verified professionals to enable community-based cost-sharing and resource optimization. Operating in Nigeria’s major hubs, particularly Lagos and Abuja, the platform helps professionals safely and efficiently share daily commuting routes. Using real-time matching technology and multi-layer identity verification, Navia Ride transforms empty car seats into opportunities for networking and cost recovery. The company is focused on digitizing community trust to make commuting smarter, safer, and more sustainable. Navia Ride is committed to connecting the workforce that drives Nigeria’s economic activity.
Role Description
This is a contract, hybrid role for a Marketing Executive (Field Acquisition & Partnerships) based in Abuja, with field execution across high-density commuter corridors. The person in this role will lead our grassroots field acquisition strategy—scouting, approaching, and onboarding local automotive partners like car washes and mechanic workshops to serve as registered NaviaRide Agents. They will manage local agent relationships, drive driver and rider acquisition, and support on-the-ground marketing activations. Daily activities include meeting local business owners, conducting field pitches, explaining our trust and commission structures, gathering market feedback, and collaborating with the internal team to hit our year-end growth targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in field marketing, sales, or business development, with a focus on user acquisition or partnerships.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities, especially with corporate clients, professional groups, and community organizations.
- Solid understanding of digital platforms, mobile apps, and basic marketing concepts relevant to tech or mobility solutions.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain product value clearly to diverse audiences.
- Self-driven and organized, able to manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting and meet acquisition and partnership targets.
- Familiarity with Abuja’s professional ecosystem and commuting patterns is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in the mobility, transportation, or technology sector is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
