Plant Supervisor

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Plant Supervisor at Centro de Innovación Pedagógica y Educación Digital - CEA. The Plant Supervisor will oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring that equipment and systems run safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational standards. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising remote operational activities, organizing and monitoring plant maintenance schedules, and supporting preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. The role involves assigning and tracking tasks, documenting operational performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. The Plant Supervisor will also provide training and guidance to team members involved in plant-related functions, maintaining clear communication and consistent adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills, including coordination of tasks, performance monitoring, and team guidance
• Experience with Plant Operations, including oversight of daily processes, safety practices, and efficiency optimization
• Background in Plant Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, with the ability to plan, schedule, and evaluate maintenance activities
• Ability to deliver Training related to plant procedures, safety protocols, and operational best practices
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams, with effective digital communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of basic safety regulations and compliance related to plant operations
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Relevant technical or vocational education in plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to evolving operational needs
