Product Development Specialist

Role Description The Product Development Specialist at Espaço PT will support the creation, improvement, and management of products from concept to launch in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitor research, identifying customer needs, and translating insights into product ideas and enhancements. The specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product requirements, support Research and Development (R&D) activities, and track project progress against timelines and objectives. Responsibilities also include preparing clear documentation, contributing to product roadmaps, assisting in testing and feedback cycles, and communicating findings and recommendations to relevant teams. This role requires proactive coordination, organized workflow management, and consistent digital communication in a remote environment.

• Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Research and Development (R&D) skills to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and support product innovation.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate product performance, and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings, and document product requirements clearly.
• Candidates should possess Product Management capabilities to assist in roadmap planning, manage tasks across the product lifecycle, and support successful product launches.
• Relevant qualifications include experience in product development or related roles, familiarity with digital tools for remote collaboration, and a background in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and proficiency in English and any other relevant languages used by Espaço PT.
