Senior Commercial Officer

Role Description The Senior Commercial Officer is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading and executing the commercial strategy for MASRI-CRC’s clinical research services. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities with sponsors, CROs, and other research partners, and maintaining strong relationships with existing collaborators. The Senior Commercial Officer will oversee the sales pipeline, prepare and present proposals, and negotiate agreements in alignment with organizational policies and ethics standards. Day-to-day tasks include market analysis, stakeholder outreach, coordination with internal teams to align commercial goals with research capabilities, and monitoring commercial performance metrics. The role also includes contributing to communication and training materials that explain MASRI-CRC’s services to partners and potential clients.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial and business development skills, including experience in Commercial strategy and Sales within healthcare, clinical research, or related fields.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities to build relationships with sponsors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience delivering Training or presentations to internal teams and external partners on services, processes, or commercial offerings.
• Knowledge of clinical research operations, GCP principles, and ethical considerations in human research is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet commercial targets.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills, with proficiency in standard office and CRM software tools.
