- Collaborate with cytotechnologists and pathologists to clarify technical documentation discrepancies and escalate issues requiring clinical assessment.
- Prepare reports on quality trends, technical defects, screening workflow performance, and improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to staff guidance materials covering digital slide quality, artifact recognition, documentation standards, and escalation protocols.
- Monitor developments in digital cytology, automated screening technologies, and laboratory quality management practices.
- Maintain accurate records of technical reviews, identified deficiencies, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Cytotechnology, Biomedical Science, Histopathology, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in cytology laboratory operations, cytology screening support, digital pathology, or laboratory quality assurance.

- Knowledge of cytology quality control procedures, specimen traceability, and laboratory documentation standards.
- Familiarity with digital pathology platforms, whole-slide imaging systems, and laboratory information systems.
- Understanding of relevant laboratory quality standards, including ISO 15189 principles where applicable.
- Experience with nonconformance management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to distinguish technical quality concerns from clinical findings requiring assessment by a pathologist or authorized cytology professional.
