Role Overview: The registered nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care, education, and care transitions within a specialized gastrointestinal unit.

- Deliver direct patient care for individuals with complex GI disorders, including GI bleeding, liver failure, and inflammatory bowel disease.
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education to support chronic illness management.
- Support nursing practice through leadership roles, mentoring, and quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; minimum one year RN experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; ability to adapt to flexible schedules and unpredictable situations.
- Current RN license, BLS certification, and any additional state or specialty certifications needed.
