Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IFRS Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience in the field. A key requirement for this role is hands-on experience in implementing IFRS 9. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation and ongoing compliance with IFRS 9, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decision-making. Develop and maintain financial models to support various business initiatives and scenarios. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement. Support the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans. Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards. Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing support and sharing best practices. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent (e.g., CPA, ACCA). Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong focus on IFRS 9 implementation. Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Experience in a senior financial analyst role within a multinational or large corporation.
