Havora is building a relationship platform designed to help people find meaningful, long-term connections through compatibility, shared values, and intentional introductions.

We are a fast-moving startup turning our product vision into reality. We need a Senior Product Designer who can take ownership, make sound design decisions, work at pace, and help us ship a product that people genuinely enjoy using.

The Role

We are looking for a strong design leader with substantial hands-on experience designing and shipping real digital products, particularly mobile applications.

This is not a role for someone who only creates attractive screens or waits for detailed instructions. You must be able to take a product requirement, understand the problem, develop a clear design solution, and work closely with product and engineering to get it shipped.

You will work directly with the product and technical teams, take responsibility for design quality, and ensure that design decisions support both user needs and business objectives.

We need someone who can lead, execute, and deliver without being micromanaged.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the product design process from understanding user problems to final implementation.

* Translate product requirements, user stories, and user journeys into clear, practical design solutions.

* Design intuitive mobile experiences, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes.

* Own and maintain the design system, reusable components, and design consistency across the product.

* Work closely with the Product Manager, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are understood and implemented correctly.

* Prepare clear design specifications and developer handoffs.

* Review implemented features, identify design gaps, and work with engineers to resolve them.

* Make informed design decisions quickly without compromising usability or quality.

* Take ownership of design priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

* Identify problems independently, propose solutions, and keep work moving without waiting for constant direction.

Required Experience and Skills

* Substantial, demonstrable experience designing and shipping real digital products.

* A strong portfolio showing products you have taken beyond mockups into actual implementation and launch.

* Proven ability to lead design projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

* Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems.

* Strong understanding of UX research, interaction design, usability, and mobile-first product design.

* Experience working closely with product managers and software engineers.

* Ability to balance design quality with delivery speed and technical constraints.

* Strong communication skills and the confidence to explain and defend design decisions.

* A practical, execution-focused approach to solving product problems.

Engagement Details

* Position: Senior Product Designer

* Duration: 6 months

* Time commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week

* Work arrangement: Remote

* Compensation: Unpaid at this stage, with potential future opportunities as Havora grows.
